TASPA Administrator Awards Announced
TASPA Administrator Award winners were announced at the TASPA/TAEE Winter Conference.  Pamela Hall, Austin ISD Executive Director of HR, was named TASPA 2011 Personnel Administrator of the Year.  Regina Wright, Denton ISD HR Coordinator, was the recipient of the TASPA 2011 Distinguished Service Award.  Congratulations to such worthy recipients!  Also awarded at the conference were Bob Presley, TASPA Retired Member and Past President, and Alejandra (Alex) Martin, former TASPA Executive Director, recipients of TASPA Honorary Membership.

2012 TASPA Officers Elected
President, Dr. Martha Dominguez, Ysleta ISD; President-Elect, Dr. Tim Rocka, Bryan ISD; 1st Vice President, Dr. Rebecca Morrison, Edinburg CISD; 2nd Vice President, Michelle Barrera, Hays CISD; Secretary, Gail Prince, Lewisville ISD; Immediate Past President, Sheri Blankenship, Hereford ISD.

TASPA Dues Increase
During the December 2010 Annual TASPA Business Meeting, an increase in dues was approved by the membership in attendance. All membership categories have increased by $15 effective January 1, 2012, as noted: Professional - $100; Professional Associate - $80; Support Staff Associate - $60; and Retired - $30.
