TASPA 2012 Summer Conference Topic Session Descriptions Posted
A list of topic session descriptions for the TASPA 2012 Summer Conference has been posted to the conference web page. Topics are provided for various areas of interest and benefit to HR administrators. Thirty topic choices are offered. We have a great line-up of keynote speakers. ALERT: The April 2012 issue of the Texas School Business magazine listed incorrect dates and location for the TASPA Summer Law and Summer Conferences. Please be reminded that the TASPA Summer Law Conference is July 18, 2012, and the TASPA Summer Conference is July 18-20, 2012. Both conferences will be held at the Sheraton Austin-Capitol.
Teacher Appraisal Advisory Committee
TEA has assembled the Teacher Appraisal Advisory Committee (TAAC) which is made up of teacher representatives for the 20 Education Service Center regions. The TAAC was created to provide advice to the TEA regarding the Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS). Meetings of the TAAC will be held throughout 2012-13. TEA will hold update meetings with various professional associations, and TASPA will be represented.
